Maskomania News considers submissions from established journalists, writers, scholars, analysts, subject-matter experts, and other qualified contributors who can bring informed perspectives, professional expertise, and meaningful insight to our areas of coverage.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
We consider original analysis, opinion, commentary, essays, and other substantive editorial work related to international affairs, geopolitics, foreign policy, security, diplomacy, political economy, and major political and societal developments within our principal areas of coverage.
We are particularly interested in work that goes beyond simply recounting events and provides informed analysis, regional expertise, original perspective, or a deeper understanding of the forces shaping international affairs.

Maskomania News focuses primarily on developments involving:
- The South Caucasus
- Central Asia
- Eastern Europe and Russia
- Türkiye and the wider Black Sea region
- Israel, Iran, and the wider Middle East
- The United States
- Europe and transatlantic affairs
- China and the Indo-Pacific when relevant to international affairs and Eurasian geopolitics
Our principal areas of interest include foreign policy, international security, diplomacy, regional power competition, governance, political and economic developments, energy and strategic infrastructure, and relations among the United States, Europe, Russia, China, Türkiye, the South Caucasus, Central Asia, Israel, Iran, and the wider Middle East.
Submissions concerning countries or subjects outside these principal coverage areas may be considered when they have a clear geopolitical, international, economic, security, or strategic connection to Maskomania News’s editorial focus.
SUBMISSION LANGUAGES
English is the preferred language for submissions to Maskomania News.
Submissions in other languages may also be considered when arranged with Maskomania News in advance. Translation or adaptation for publication will be handled only with the contributor’s authorization.
EDITORIAL STANDARDS
Submissions must be original or properly authorized for publication, factually responsible, appropriately sourced where necessary, and free from plagiarism.
Contributors must identify material that has been previously published and any third-party material included with a submission, including photographs, graphics, documents, or other copyrighted content, and must have the necessary rights, permissions, or other lawful basis for material they provide.
Contributors must also disclose simultaneous submissions and any use of artificial-intelligence tools that requires disclosure under the Independent Guest Contributor Terms.
Maskomania News does not accept material submitted primarily for advertising, paid links, promotional placement, undisclosed commercial purposes, or other forms of disguised promotional content.
INDEPENDENT GUEST CONTRIBUTORS
Guest contributors publish under their own names and remain editorially independent from Maskomania News.
Their opinions, interpretations, and conclusions are their own and do not necessarily represent the institutional views or positions of Maskomania News.
Publication as an Independent Guest Contributor does not, by itself, make a contributor a member of Maskomania News staff or editorial management, or authorize the contributor to speak for or represent Maskomania News or Maskomania News LLC.
COMPENSATION
Independent Guest Contributions are unpaid unless Maskomania News LLC and the contributor expressly agree otherwise in writing in advance.
Maskomania News does not charge contributors a fee to submit legitimate editorial work or to publish an accepted Independent Guest Contribution.
EDITORIAL REVIEW
All submissions are subject to editorial review.
Maskomania News retains final editorial discretion over whether a submission is accepted for publication. We may verify information and sources, request revisions, and edit accepted material for accuracy, clarity, style, formatting, and publication standards. Maskomania News also retains editorial control over headlines and presentation.

Before submitting work for consideration, prospective Independent Guest Contributors must review and accept the Maskomania News Independent Guest Contributor Terms.
Those terms address publication authorization, originality and copyright, third-party material, editorial rights, contributor status, and other conditions applicable to guest submissions.
Acceptance of the Independent Guest Contributor Terms permits a submission to be considered for editorial review. It does not guarantee acceptance, publication, the creation of a contributor profile, or an ongoing contributor relationship with Maskomania News.
